Thriving and Surviving at UMass Boston - A Guide For Students in the Global Affairs Program

Dear Global Affairs Student,

Welcome to our program we are happy to have you!

This webpage is meant to be a helpful resource for you. Whether you are a prospective student, a newly matriculated student or a continuing student, the information on this page will help you understand the Global Affairs program, assist you in getting started at the University and serve as a reference for questions you have or issues you may encounter on the way to completing your degree.

While the videos and other materials on this webpage may be viewed in any order, for our new students we strongly recommend that you view the videos on the major and advising and registration (this is the longest video but the one that will be of major benefit to you). Transfer students should also view the video on transfer credit processes and procedures.

We welcome your feedback on this website. It is meant to assist you and we want to make sure it does! If there are questions you have that we do not address, please let us know and we will add this information.

We look forward to helping you achieve your degree in the most efficient and enjoyable way possible.
