Department of Public Policy and Public Affairs
To ensure the health and safety of our faculty, students, staff, and surrounding community, UMass Boston will continue to operate in hybrid fashion, with some courses lodged on campus and others—the majority—continuing in remote modality during the fall 2020 semester. Many answers about the campus's response to the coronavirus can be found in our special section.
At this time, applications for all graduate programs and courses are being accepted as usual. If in-person activities need to be adapted to remote learning, you will be notified. We encourage you to Request Info for email notifications as the situation evolves.
Our academic programs in public policy and public administration offer:
- interdisciplinary study of a wide range of political and economic philosophies and theories, with a particular focus on effective government and issues of social equity at the local and global levels
- small, student-centered classes
- dedicated and supportive faculty to drive student success
