Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy
Advancing Women's Engagement and Participation in Public Life
The Graduate Certificate Program in Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy is closely aligned with the scholarship and mission of the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy (CWPPP). Students benefit from center events and learn from center research, publications, and projects promoting women's political leadership.
The center’s primary areas of expertise focus on the political representation of women and a range of public policy issues that are important to women. Its research directly addresses the intersectionality of gender, race/ethnicity, and social class by examining issues that are relevant to diverse communities of women.
