Meet Some of Our MPA students
Charles (Charlie) Levin is a member of the MPA Class of 2018 cohort and serves as its liaison as his assistantship assignment. He studies the traditional MPA curriculum. Levin earned a BS in communications and journalism with a minor in criminal justice from Salem State University. He has most recently served as an outreach specialist for the Massachusetts Division of Insurance.
A member of the MPA Class of 2019, Mario Marchesi currently serves as a project management lead at Mathematica. He earned a BA in history from the UMass Lowell. He also studies the traditional MPA curriculum and serves as his cohort’s administrative liaison.
Latasha Anderson-Smith, a member of the MPA Class of 2019, studies in the Municipal Management track of the MPA program. She earned a BS in sociology and criminal justice from Suffolk University and currently works as a court officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
A classmate of Marchesi and Anderson-Smith, Jennifer (Jenna) Connolly returned to her alma mater to enroll in the Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy track of the MPA program. She earned a BA in psychology and English from UMass Boston. Connolly currently serves as an outreach coordinator for the All Bright Home Ownership program at the Allston-Brighton Community Development Corporation.
